The closing on our construction loan went through without a hitch Friday, August 20, 2010....Praise God!Let all of the work begin! We've formed teams (see Everyone Counts), we're doing research, making decisions, setting up more teams....we are all so excited! We've got a lot of work to do but we're up for it all.
Come and join us as we grow! Join us as we begin to see our dreams of having our own church on our own property become reality!
WE'VE BEEN APPROVED FOR A CONSTRUCTION LOAN FROM REGIONS BANK
AS OF JUNE 10, 2010!
AND... WE'VE RECEIVED OUR BUILDING PERMIT FROM THE COUNTY AND IT IS TIME TO BUILD OUR FIRST SANCTUARY!

Rev. Ruth Jensen-Forbell, Senior Pastor, Administrator Elizabeth Jensen-Forbell and C.F.O. Mari Gilman, with the help of others including James Bacon, our general contractor of Modern Building Solutions, LCC, happily announce the arrival of our BUILDING PERMIT.
After a very long time of planning, arranging, Engineers and Architects, crossing T's and dotting I's, we've been given the 'go ahead' by virtue of the illusive BUILDING PERMIT. And the story is really a lot longer than that but now all we have to do is look forward and build, build build!
Our property is gorgeous, lush and pristine, our LOG CABIN church will fit beautifully into its niche and our 'GREEN' sanctuary and grounds will certainly be a wonderful place to worship. The excitement abounds at FirstCoast MCC!
UFMCC is a Christian church founded in and reaching beyond the gay, lesbian and queer communities. We embody and proclaim CHRISTIAN SALVATION AND LIBERATION, CHRISTIAN INCLUSIVITY & COMMUNITY, and CHRISTIAN SOCIAL ACTION AND JUSTICE.
